Buying a SharFarrPei Puppy
We at SharFarrPei are extremely proud of our Shar Pei dogs and puppies. We do not breed often but when we do, we breed to the Shar Pei standard with care and dedication.
As we are members of the Shar Pei Club of Great Britain (SPCGB) & the Kennel Club (KC), we adhere to the clubs code of ethics (please note that we do not breed for a specific gender, colour or coat).
If you want 2nd best then please look elsewhere, as only serious enquiries are welcome. If you wish to enquire please use the 'Litter Interest Form' to send your details including name, email address, telephone number, location, and why you really want a Shar Pei (please don’t be “put off” or offended by this as we simply want our dogs to have the best in life).
When you adopt a puppy from us your puppy will come / with:
Vet Checked with our Shar Pei friendly vet
Wormed and Vaccinated
Kennel Club ownership papers
Kennel Club 5 Generation Certificate
At least 4 weeks’ free insurance
Contract of sale
Lifetime of Support
Bag of Premium food
If eye tac's are required this will have been completed by a "Shar Pei Friendly" (breed specialist) vet, at our expense before the puppy leaves our home.
If for any reason you can no longer care for your SharFarrPei puppy, (when possible) we will take the puppy/dog back and find another home as we do not want any of our puppies or dogs in shelters.
A small non-refundable deposit will secure your chosen puppy (until ready to leave after 8 weeks of age). The puppy will not leave our home until he / she is fully paid for.
Your new puppy:
Your puppy will be raised in our home and given extreme love from all our family. The puppy will be very well socialised with other people and dogs, and will be familiar to all usual household noises by the time the puppy leaves to go to his/her new forever home. Viewings can be arranged after their first health check.
All our puppies are endorsed with the Kennel Club. This is predominantly to prevent the puppies from ending up with puppy farmers and indiscriminate breeders. Endorsements may be lifted at our discretion after 2 years.
Finally, we love to chat about our Shar Pei (or the breed in general) and welcome phone calls about available or planned litters or indeed just for help and advise.
Note: "The Kennel Club is the only organisation accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to certify dog breeders, under the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme. This means that the Kennel Club is recognised as an impartial and competent inspector by the government's sole national accreditation body. This gives the puppy buying public additional confidence that as a Kennel Club Assured Breeder, I am committed to meeting and maintaining high standards for caring for the health and welfare of their puppies and breeding bitches, and are the best point of contact for buying a healthy, happy puppy."
